Courtyard by Marriott Downtown San Antonio
I chose this hotel because of its price relative to downtown San Antonio hotels, and the fact that parking was free too. To get downtown, hop aboard the trolley right outside the Hotel, and go downtown for $1, or buy an unlimited one day pass for $3.75.
The rooms were a little on the small side, and the AC a bit loud, but it was still comfortable. No mini refridgerator nor microwave was in the room. Breakfast also not in cluded. I did not get a chance to sample the pool.
I would probably stay there again....More

The Iroquois
This is a smaller hotel in a location convenient to everything. The rooms were lovely with wonderfully comfortable beds. Bryant Park is two blocks away and we easily walked to the theater and Central Park. This is a small hotel close to everything, but very, very quiet. The workout room was extremely small, but in warmer weather, there's plenty of opportunity to walk or run outside. I will definitely stay here again....More
